This letter responds to a telephone inquiry from Mr. A. Dromerick on April 2, 1980.

Mr. Dromerick was forwarding a question from Commissioner Gilinsky regarding availability and adequacy of procedural guidance for the shif t supervisor of an unaffected reactor when the companion unit is undergoing an emergency.

Vepco commits to establishing. procedures at North Anna Power Station to deal with situations as described above.

The procedures will be approved for station use prior to initial criticality of North Anna Unit 2.
