FE B -81980 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Westinghouse Electric Corporation License No. SNM-1107 Columbia Nuclear Fuel Based on the NRC inspection January 24-25, 1980, certain of your activities were ipparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated aelow. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you ilated December 31, 1974.
As required by 10 CFR 71.5 no licensee shall deliver any licensed material to a carrier for transport, unless the licensee complies with the applicable requirements to the regulations appropriate to the mode of transportf of the Department of Transportation in 49 CFR Parts 170-189.
Contrary to the above, on August 2, 1979, some containers of LSA material were not packaged in strong, tight packages as required by 49 CFR 173.392(c)(1).
This is an infraction.
