ULNRC- 342 SUBMITTAL DATE EXTENSION 10CFR50.55(e) REPORT-ELECTRICAL PENETRATION ASSEMBLIES WIRE TERMINATIONS CALLAWAY PLANT UNIT 1 On Tuesday, February,26, 1980, we provided Mr. W. A. Hansen verbal notification of a 10CFR50.55(e) report regarding apparent under crimping of terminal lugs for the con-

tainment electrical penetration assemblies.

Since that date we have initiated an inspection by the vendor, Bunker-Ramo, to determine the extent and cause of this problem. Also this problem has been reported to Mr. McGaughey of NRC Region I and it was further confirmed that this problem will be treated as a generic report by SNUPPS to Region I.

Due to the extensive follcw up effort with the responsible vendor, Bunker-Ramo, the SNUPPS final report will be issued on or before April 30, 1980.
