-l Attached are ten copies of the report on the generic eyaluation

of the Significant Deficiency identified in the determination of ejected rod worth. This problem has been identified to the B&W utility customers with Operating Licenses and Construction Permits, although in B&W's opinion none of those plants must report this problem pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55(e).

This position is explained in the attached report. The corrective action Oi of revising the Technical Specification rod position limits at hot zero power will be implemented as described in the attached report. 'Ihe plants that were investigated for potential applicability are also identified in the attached report.
