Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit II (TMI-2)

Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 TMI-II Effects of Asymmetric LOCA Loads--Phase II Status The Babcock and Wilcox Company, by their letter dated February 14, 1980, transmitted a report entitled " Effects of Asymmetric LOCA Loadings--Phase II Status", BAW-1597, dated February, 1980. By copy of this letter, we endorse the results of that report. We conclude that the results are indeed applicable to TMI-II.

A program for resolution of these concerns will be provided to you on a schedule commensurate with the startup date of the unit. Delay in com-pletion of this work will facilitate completion of the Phase II assessment of the remaining B&W plants by July 1980.
