FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION -
CRYSTAL RIVER NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT DOCKET NO. 50-302
Dear Mr. Schwencer:
This is to acknowledge Florida Power Corporation's co=mitment regarding a new meteorological data acquisition system for the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant site.
Florida Pover Corporation is com=;t,ted to install a new system that meets all requirements of Regulato2y Guide 1.23.
Activities are currently underway to procure and install the necessary equipment.
Measurements of vind direction, vind speed, and ambient temperature at both an upper and lover level and the differential temperature between levels vill be taken with the required accuracies.
In addition, this informatica vill be displayed in the Crystal River Unit 3 control room, and will be recorded or logged to provide permanent records.
FSAR revisions vill be made accordingly in the future to reflect those design changes when the design and equipment are finalized.
