Dear Mr. Sells:
c3 Our letter of January 8,1975, indicated that we would be able to submit our final summary of the Crystal River environmental work on January 31, 1975. We now see that the desired data reduction of the juvenile fish data will not be completed. Compilation of the data has been completed; however, during the work-up it appeared that a computer run summarization of the data would greatly enhance the usefulness of the information and enhance performance of any subsequent re-analysis. As a result, we are writing a data reduction program and intend to analyze the work by computer.
We would, therefore, propose to delay the completion of the report until February 14, 1975.
Mr. Garrison has discussed this with your Mr. Loose and also Mr. Tebo, of EPA, to confirm desirability of this work and the proposed delay.
If this date is unacceptable or if advance copies of portions of the data would be useful to you, please let us hear from you.
We regret being unable to meet the original date for submittal. The delay will allow us sufficient time to employ more meaningful approach and add, I believe, considerable value to the report.
