in re: Florida Power Corporati.on Crystal River Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 50-302 This letter [ Original in Triplicate and nineteen (19) Conformed Copies]
together with twenty-two (22) copies of Florida Power Corporation's quarterly " Environmental Status Report" for July-August-September,1970 is forwarded for the purpose of the furnishing information to yourself and your Staf f.
The report describes environmental activities of Florida Power Corporation at its Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Plant Site.
This submission is not an Amendment to the Application for Licenses, Docket 50-302, neither is it to be considered as the " Environmental Re-port" which will be submitted to your office at a later date addressing itself to the environmental impact of the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating. Plant per your letter of July 15, 1970.
The intent of Florida Power Corporation's " Environmental Status Report" is to evidence compliance with the recemendations and requirements set forth in a letter from the Comissioner, United States Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service, Washington, D. C. dated February 12, 1968 addressed.o Mr. Harold L. Price, Director of Regulations, U. S.
Atomic Energy Comission, Washington, D. C.
Section IX of the Environmental Report is the Distribution List of reci-pients of the Report. This includes various Federal, State and Local Governmental Agencies and Regulatory Offices, participating Universities and private consulting firms and other companies and individuals to whom the Report is of interest. You will note that the Chairman, Board of County Comissioners, Citrus County, Florida, in which county our Crystal River Nuclear Unit 3 is located, is included in this Distribution List.
