Pursuant to the requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and the Atomic Energy Commission's Rules and Regu-lations promulgated thereunder, herewith served upon you by our Com-pany's Vice President and General Counsel is a copy of the Company's

-Application for Licenses under Section 104(b) of said Act for the construction, ownership and use of nuclear electric generating facili-ties to be located at the Company's site on the Gulf in Citrus County, Florida.

This Application consists of a volume entitled " Application for Licenses", together with four volumes of documents entitled " Crystal River Units 3 and 4 Nuclear Generating Plant, Preliminary Safety Analysis Report".

As this Application is processed before the Atomic Energy Com-mission and its Staff, whether in Washington, D.

C., or at the Citrus County Court House, Inverness, Florida, or a location more near the situs of the proposed nuclear plant construction, you will receive by personal and mail service documents fully apprising the citizens of Citrus County, through you, of the issues and determinations involved and made in the proceedings.

You will note on page 8 of the volume entitled " Application for Licenses" that I will be the appropriate officer of Florida Power Corpora-tion with whom you should communicate regarding any explanation or posi-tion you desire to communicate to, or receive from, Florida Power Corpora-1 tion.
