Enclosed for your review are forty (40) copies of our " Summary Report" of the steam generator repair effort at Crystal River Unit 3.
This report was informally telecopied to Mr. Chris Nelson of your staff on Wednesday, August 23, 1978.
This report, which summarizes the completed repair program at CR #3, along with additional technical assessments submitted to you in our letter of May 16, 1978, supports our conclusion that the damage sustained by the OTSG will not have a detrimental effect on its safe operation over the time remaining on this first cycle.
