Dear Mr. Reid:
In your letter of July 6,1978, you requested Florida Ppwer Corporation to provide, within 30 days, a statement that our diesel generator system at CR#3 meets the two staff positions attached to your letter.
Since receipt of your letter we have reviewed the diesel generator system design and wish to offer the following statements with regard to the two staff positions:
1.
The CR#3 diesel generator system meets the requirements of the staff's position concerning clearing of shared annuciators. Before an alarm which is shared with a number of other alarms can be cleared, all abnormal conditions must be removed first.
2.
The CR#3 diesel generator system meets the staff's second position statement as our system has no manual lockout relays.
