Crystal River Plant - Unit #3 4 Docket No. 50-302

Dear fir. Kruesi:

O On June 20, 1973, Florida Power Corporation advised the DRO Q Region II office of our possible involvement in a situation which could be considered reportable under Federal Regulation 10 CFR50.55(e). This situation involved incomplete documenta-tion in the weld filler material records for reactor vessels, closure heads, and pressurizers fabricated by the Babcock &

A report on the investigation of these records was submitted to the Atomic Energy Commission by Babcock & Wilcox. A copy of the report, BAW-1403, identifying our involvement will be maintained at the Crystal River Unit #3 site.

Please advise if further infonnation on this matter is required.

Very truly yours, FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION Richad E. Raymond Senior Vice President RER/iw .
