Dear Mr. Giambusso:
Babcock and Wilcox submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission copies of their non-proprietary, topical reports BAW-10104, "B&W's ECCS Evalua-tion Model," and BAW-10103, "ECCS Analysis of B&W's 177 FA Lowered Loop NSS" on May 29, 1975 and July 9,1975 respectively.
Topical report BAW-10104 describes the generic B&W ECCS Evaluation Model and demonstrates the compliance of this model to Appendix K of 10 CFR 50.
Both the large and small break models are included in this report.
Topical report BAW-10103 describes the B&W ECCSS evaluation for the Oconee class of plants in conformance to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.46.
The description of the B&W ECCS evaluation model which was used in this analy-sis is contained in BAW-10104 referenced above.
Both of these topical reports are applicable to the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant and will be incorporated by reference into our license application as part of Amendment No. 47 to the Final Safety Analy-s'.s Report.
