Dear Mr. Moseley:
This report is submitted in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1 and Regulatory Guide 1.16, Revision 4, Section 2.b. (3) as a e written Thirty (30) Day Report.
Review of surveillance test procedure results determined that the Crystal River Unit I station battery did not meet acceptance critetia in that. specific gravity was below 1.20.
Redundant sources of emer-
[n) gency power were available and demonstrated operability.
Upon dis-(j covery, the battery was charged and tested satisfactorily.
Corrective action was implemented in accordance with the attached Licensee Event Report.
No safety implications resulted.
