5 Please find enclosed Licensee Event Report 77-5, which is submitted pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1, and Section 2.b.(1) of Regulatory Guide 1.16, Revision 4.
During surveillance inspection of' Boric Acid Storage Tank "A" Level

Indicator, it was found to be plugged reading 100% when, in fact, the (V
tank was empty.
Redundant sources of boron were available.
A modification to the indicator has been submitted to provide blowdown, and periodic mechanical clearance of lines is being performed to prevent recurren'ce.
