REQUEST FOR WITHHOLDING INFORMATION FROM PUBLIC
'^' 0SURE (McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2)
By letter dated December 7,1979, you submitted information related to electri-cal equipment qualification for the above dockets and requested that it be with-held from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790. As you indicated, the information had been previously submitted by Westinghouse and the NRC had agreed by letter dated April 15, 1977 to withhold the data from public disclosure. We have reviewed your request and will continue to witahold this information on electrical equipment qualification from public inspection.
Withholding from public inspection shall not affect the right, if any, of per-sons properly and directly concerned to inspect the documents.
If the need arises, we may send copies of this information to our consultants working in this area. We will, of course, assure that the consultants have signed the appropriate agreements for handling proprietary data.
If the basis for withholding this information from public inspection should change in the future such that the information could then be made available for public inspection, you should promptly notify the NRC.
