Re: Reactor Containment Building Atmosphere Cleanuo This is in respense to your letter GQL 1416 dated Movember 13, 1979, subject as above, in which you requested our approval to proceed with purging the TMI-2 Reactor Building. We are currently evaluating your submittal and will be preparing an environmental assessment on this subject. We plan to submit this assessment to the Commission the latter part of January 1980. Until such time as the Commission has approved specific methods for disposition of the Krypton-85 in tne Reactor Building, we are withholding approval of your request to purge the TMI-2 Reactor Building.
