REQUEST FOR NRC ASSISTMCE FROM MR. AND IRS. HE!RY KEENER OF YORK, PEMSYLVANIA As a follow-up to K. Abraham's memo of 11/29//9, I 3ntacted Beverly Davis of the Governor's Action Center on 12/4/79, to discuss the situation with the Keener's. She told :ae that the Xeener's were never given an opportunity to meet with during or following the meeting they had with Net-Ed officials on 11/3. Thss of course is contrary to what I was told by Ira Seybold, Met-Ed.
I then met with Ira Seybold, John White and Don :leely to discuss my conver-sation with Beverly Davis. Ira Seybold reiterated what he told me on 11/3 following his meeting with the Keener's. I requested that Ira document his recollection of the c.ceting and provide me a copy. Attached is a copy of a meno to file from Ira Seybold, which supports his previous statements.
I plan to contact Mr. and :trs. Keaner this week and arrange.to meet.with.them at the earliest possible time.
I intent to inform the Keener's that I plan to suanarize our discussion in a letter following the meeting, which can be used for future reference.
I would hope that this will! h&lp resolve the uncertainties they have concerning Mr. Keener's exposure.
