I answered his questions regarding technical matters involving the Oconee Station factually but disqualified myself regarding his general concerns on the grounds that the Oconee reactor is a prototype and problems of the kind experienced to date are not unanticipated.
With regard to his final concern I informed him that our licensing activities are based.upon the Code of Federal Regulations, Regulatory Guides and Standards adopted for the industry and that I was not in a position to forecast the impact of future budget activities on these bases.
