In response to your letter of August 18, 1976 which transmitted IE Circular 76-02 concerning malfunctions in Westinghouse BFD relays, the following information is provided:

A review of the Oconee Nuclear Station design has determined that Westing-house type BF and BFD relays are not used or planned for use in Oconre safety-related systems.
