Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In response to your letter of November 4, 1977, which forwarded IE Bulletin 77-04, a review of the containment sump pH control system was performed.
The results of this review indicate that there is sufficient sodium hydroxide available at the station to maintain the pH of the containment sump post LOCA solution within specifications under all operating conditions.
