Moseley:
1 Unusual Event Report UE-269/74-6 reported a ficiency in the seismic qualification of the control rod drive system AC breaker cabinets at Oconee Nuclear Station.
The report stated that a modification was being prepared to increase the attachment strength of the cabinet to the floor.
This modification was to be completed by February 1, 1975.
i A design review of the modification proposed by B&W has indicated that the modification cannot be accomplished due to close interferenc2 of l
nearby equipment.
Consequently, the modification is being re-avaluated and a proposed design change should be available by March 1, 1975.
Modification of the trip breaker cabinets must be performed during a unit. outage. Therefore, modification of the cabinets will be performed during the first scheduled unit outage following review and approval of the design change.
