Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 General Electric Reload Fuel Application Enclosed you will find forty copies of General Electric (G.E.) reload fuel application report (NEDO-24195). This report is submitted for your timely review and approval in anticipation of loading G.E. fuel at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station in the early Spring of 1981. NEDO-24195 includes fuel mechanical design, nuclear evaluation methods, steady-state hydraulic models, and reactor limits determination information.
Although the report incorporates those features and considerations unique to the Oyster Creek application, it utilizes the basic approach described in G.E. Generic Reload Fuel Application Report, NEDO-240ll-P.
Appendix A to NEDO-24195 and other updates including the results of bounding analyses applicable to Oyster Creek will be submitted in the near future.
This submittal and the forthcoming updates will be used as the bases for future reloads at the Oyster Creek facility.
In accordance with 10 CFR 170.22 we have determined that this subnittal and future updates to be a Class IV application and have enclosed a check for
$12,300.00 pursuant to that section.
