Maintenance of systems is continuing. Several refueling surveillance tests were ec=pleted during March. The plant is being placed in a startup configuration while avaiting completion of the I.E. Bulletin 79-02 and 79-lh work.
The special Nuclear Regulatory Com=ission task force on the i=ple=enta-tion of NUP.EG-0578 short ter reco==endations visited the site in early March. No significant proble=s were uncover ed and efforts are continu-ing to co=plete the changes.
One new e=ployee was added to the Operations Department in the position of au: ciliary operator (nuclear) .
The Supervisor-Operations attended a meeting in Windsor, Connecticut to review the E=ergency Procedure guidelines to be sub=itted to the NRC staff frc= the Combustion Engineering owners group.
Other operations duties were performed as scheduled.
