APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Tennessee Valley Authority License Nos. DPR-33 Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant DPR-52 & DPR-68 Based on the NRC inspection December 17-20, 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized _as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Technical Specification 6.3.A.6, detailed written procedures for surveillance and testing shall be prepared, approved and adhered to.
The BFNP Radiochemistry Manual, Section 500, requires an annual check of activity and efficiency factors for '.he Ge(Li) systems.
Contrary to the above, no efficiency and activity checks were made during the period from February 1977 to December 1979.
This is a deficiency.
