SKAGIT NUCLEAR POWER PROJECT, UNITS 1 & 2 By letter, dated September 14,1979, PLN-224, you submitted three copies of offshore seismic surveys in the northern San Juan Islands. You requested that the data be withheld in whole from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790 and 10 CFR 9.5(a).

"We have examined the data and find that it and your bases for requesting that it be withheld from public disclosure are of the same type and persuasion as the. data'you had previously submitted and was approved for withholding by us on January 12, 1976.

Therefore, we have approved your request. Disclosure of the information is not required in the public interest nor by 10 CFR Part 9, and therefore will be withheld from public disclosure per 10 CFR Part 2, Section 2.790(b).

Withholding from public disclosure shall not affect the right, if any, of persons properly and directly concerned to inspect the data,
