Box 15830 Sacramento, California 95813 Docket No. 50-312 License No. DPR-54 Notice of Violation Based upon the results of an NRC inspection conducted on December 4-8, 1978, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below:
Contrary to 10 CFR 20.203(f), at the time of the inspection, two vent rig filter containers located in the West Decay Heat Room of the Auxiliary Building, were not labeled to indicate the presence of radioactive materials in excess of the quantities listed in Appendix C of 10 CFR 20. The quantities of radioactive materials in the containers were sufficient to cause radiation levels of 280 mr/hr and 70 mr/hr, respectively, at the surface of the containers.
This is a deficiency.
