50-556/80-01 50-557/80-01 Appendix A NOTICE OF DEVIATION Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on January 6-11, 1980, it appears that certain of your activities related to Black Fox Station, Unit 1 deviate from commitments made in your Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) as indicated below:
Section 17.D.l.5 of the PSAR states that all Field Project Management activities that affect the quality of safety-related items will be performed in accordance with documented procedures.
Procedure FPPM 4.8, " Storage end Preservation of Material and Equipment,"
Revision 1 requires that maintenance records shall be kept in plastic envelopes attached to items requiring preservation and maintenance.
Contrary to the above:
On January 8, 1980, the IE inspector found that maintenance records were not attached to three residual heat removal heat exchangers stored in the outdoor storage area.
This is a deviation.
