SUMMARY

OF MEETING TO DISCUSS REVIEW 0F SOUTH TEXAS SECURITY PLAN A meeting was held on January 9,1980 with the applicant in Bethesda, Maryland to discuss the South Texas Security Plan.

The meeting was held at the applicant's request to determine the status of our review of the plan. The meeting attendees are listed in the Enclosure. The meeting is summarized as follows.

Summary At the start of the meeting, we provided the applicant with an overview of the NMSS organization which has recently been assigned the responsibility for the review and approval of Security Plans, including the South Texas Security Plan.

We informed the applicant that we have started the review of the South Texas Security Plan, including the Contingency Plan (chapter eight of the Security Plan). At the meeting, we provided comments that have resulted from our review to date.

We stated that these and any additional comments resulting from our review will be forwarded to the applicant in the near future as a request for additional information.

We stated that a site visit will be scheduled as part of our review of the Security Plan sometime in the future, but not for at least six months. We also stated that the applicant will be advised in writing when it will be required to submit its Guard Training and Qualification Plan.
