Gross electrical generation was 351,821 MRH or 87.6% design electrical e
capacity.
Operating Summary The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent items of interest for the month:
1/1/80 At the beginning of the reporting period, the plant was generating at 99% of rated thermal power.
1/5/80 At 0545 commenced shutdown to repair leaking RHR valve V10-81B.
At 0922 the turbine was removed from the grid.
1/6/80 At 0045 repairs were completed and the reactor was critical. The turbine was phased into the grid at 1221.
1/10/80 At 0100 power was reduced to perform a control rod pattern adjust-ment.
At 0730 the adjustment was completed and a power ascension was initiated.
1/18/80 At 2300 power was reduced to perform turbine surveillance and a control rod pattern adjustment.
1/19/80 At 0430 the control rod pattern adjustment was completed and a power ascension initiated.
1/20/80 At 0530 a power reduction was initiated due to an indicated in-crease in turbine vibrations.
At 1205 the power reduction was terminated at 30% power.
At 1440 repairs were completed and a power ascension was initiated.

At 0900 the adjustment was completed and a power ascension initiated.
1/31/80 At 1200 a shutdown was initiated in response to orders from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
At 1709 the turbine was removed from the grid.
At the end of the reporting period, the plant was shutdown and cooled down.
