1.
Provide the fuel quanty assurance program requested by our letter of Dece=ber 4, 1972.
2.
Provide information to justify the acceptability of using anodized circonium cladding.
Include information to justify that the tech-c.nical performance of the cladding over the fuel rod lifetime is not significantly altered by impurities (e.g., H2 and I;;) picked up by the cladding during anodizing. Also discus: the acceptability of the corrosion resistance of the anodized film f or the anticipated cervice.
If the 28 anodized rods are part of a tcst progran to previde data to justify future inscrtion of a substcntial leading of anodized clad rods, discuss the adequacy of the prcgra= to obtain the necessary data.
