Dear Mr. Engelken:
We have reviewed the subject IE Bulletin and offer the following in response:
Item 1 of the subject bulletin does not apply due to the fact that plants are still under construction.
Items 2 and 3 require inspection of installed piping systems for pipe run geometry, support type and location, pipe attachments, restraints, etc., to substantiate conformance to the seismic analysis input. At the present time, piping installation on WNP-3/5 has not progressed to the point where meaningful in-spections can be made, and an appropriate response to the subject bulletin is not possible at the present stage of construction.
