Shelly Schwartz has asked that I express his regret that the Federal Government cannot reimburse you for subsistence exoenses incurred during the decomi'isioning workshop, September 11-14, 1979.
At the time you spoke with' Shelly in late August through October, he and this office were under the impression that the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC) could reimburse you, because you were on government business beyond normal working hours.
I've enclosed the NRC correspondeice for your infomation.
