TERMINATION OF 50.54(f) CONTEXT FOR FURTHER RESPONSES ON MIDLAND SOILS SETTLEMENT
REFERENCE:
"Sunmary of January 16, 1980 meeting on Supplemental Requests Regarding Plant Fill", February 4,1980.
The referenced sumary report of a meeting of January 16, 1980 provides the documentation requested by Mr. Michael I. Miller, Esq. regarding our under-standing that further responses to requests on the Midland Plant soil settlement matter need not be submitted in the 10 CFR 50.54 (f) context.
Our 50.54(f) decision was embodied in the Order Modifying Construction Permits as issued December 6, 1979. Consequently, the outstanding responses may be submitted in the context of the staff's ongoing safety review of the application for construction permits and operating licensings for the Midland Plant, Units 1 and 2.
Other matters related to these discussions are also included in the sumary report.
