ENCLOSURE 1 Arkansas Power and Light Company Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1 Docket No. 50-313 NOTICE OF VIOLATION Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted during the period of November 22 - December 21, 1979, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC regulations and the conditions of your license, DPR-51, as indicated below:
Technical Specification 6.8.1 requires that, " Written procedures shall be established, implemented, and maintained covering.

The applicable procedures recommended in Appendix "A" of Regulatory Guide 1.33...."
As required in paragraph E of Appendix A to Regulatory Guide 1.33, Procedure 1203.12, " Annunciator Corrective Action," has been established.
Section K11, E-2 of this procedure addresses improper level in the Sodium Hydroxide Storage Tank.
Contrary to the above, the licensee failed to maintain procedure 1203.12 in that this procedure was not revised as required following the implementation of Amendment 39 to the Unit 1 Technical Specifications in April 1779.
This is an infraction (50-313/79-25-01).
