Subject:
Anchorage and Support of Safety Related Electrical Equipment In response to your required action plan for resolution of Reference (b) the following steps will be taken:
(1) A list of safety related Olectrical equipment, limited to equipment attached to the floor, will be developed. An inspection will be made of those areas containing safety related electrical equipment to identify non-seismic Category I auxiliary items having the capability to impact and damage this equipment.
(2)
A document search will be initiated to obtain possible details of structural connections for the safety related electrical equipment and auxiliary equipment identified above.
(3)
Engineering evaluations will be made of the existing anchorage systems, or lack of, to determine their adequacy.
(4)
If safety margins fer anchorage systems are not sufficient, modifications will be recommended.
(5)
The results of our investigation will be submitted in accordance with your schedule in Reference (b).
