THAT THE BOARD ORDER THE NRC STAFF TO PROVIDE TO THE PARTIES A DETAILED EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT UPON THIS PROCEEDING 0F THE NRC'S DECISION ANN 0UNCED JANUARY 19,1979 RE THE 1975 REACTOR SAFETY STUDY o
Cleetons' Motion No. 4 requests an evaluation by the Staff of the impact of the Commission's policy statement on the Reactor Safety Study and review by the Lewis Panel on this proceeding.
The Staff has no objec-tion to this request.
By letter of February 14, 1979, the Staff forwarded to the Board and parties the Commission's January 19, 1979 policy statement on the Reactor Safety Study and the Staff's survey of the uses which the Staff has made of WASH-1400.
The Staff will provide by March 1,1979, an evaluation of the impact, if any, on this proceeding of the Staff's reconsideration of the three items identified in the December 11, 1978 Memorandum from Harold R. Denton, Director Nuclear Reactor Regulation to Lee V. Gossick, Executive Director for Operations (enclosed in the February 14, 1979 letter).
