CONTROL NUMBER(S) of 10/16/2019 Orano TN Discuss draft technical requests for supplemental information (RSIs) for the Advanced NUHOMS (CoC 72-1029) renewal application and agree upon expected response from TN.
A teleconference was held between NRC and TN to discuss the draft technical RSIs on the Advanced NUHOMS (CoC 72-1029) renewal application, which were provided to TN on September 23, 2019. A list of the participants is provided on page two.
The purpose of the call was to: (1) ensure a common understanding of the RSIs; (2) ensure that the RSIs are not already addressed in the current submittal; and (3) establish an appropriate response date for PG&E to respond to the RSIs.
The participants came to a common understanding on the RSIs, and NRC will review the RSIs based on the discussion prior to transmitting. The parties agreed to an RSI response date of 30 days after the issuance of the RSI letter.
There were no additional actions identified for the NRC beyond re-reviewing the need for the RSIs and issuance of the RSI letter.
