Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 IE Bulletin No. 79-25 The purpose of this letter is to respond to the directives set forth in IE Bulletin No. 79-25 which is concerned with failures of Westinghouse BFD relays in safety-related systems.
No relays of this type are used in the safety-related systems or elsewhere at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.
lE Bulletin No. 79-25, therefore, does not apply to the Oyster Creek Station.
Similar replies concerning the same type relay were provided to your office in respose to IE Bulletin No. 76-05 (April 5,1976) and IE Circular No. 76-02 (August 18,1976).
