Dear Mr. Ward:
On July 12, 1979 I denied the request made on behalf of the Mid-American
~
Coalition for Energy Alternatives, the Critical Hass Energy Project, and other persons who have petitioned the Commission to suspend or revoke the construction permit for the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No.1.
The Commissioners have extended the period within which to determine whether to review this decision.
The Sta$ intends to issue a supplement to the denial which would address the concerns in your August 11, 1979 letter pertaining to the g-values relative to the Wolf Creek site and the Tyrone site.
In addition the supplement will clarify some aspects of the original decision.
It is expected that the supplemental decision will be issued by the end of January 1980.
