Dear Mr. Rawl:

We have evaluated the General Electric Model No. FL-10-1 packaging against the 1973 design requirements of IAEA.

Based on the information submitted in support of NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9009 (Revision No. 3) and General Electric Company letter dated May 16, 1979 (G. E.

Cunningham to R. R. Rawl) we have concluded the packaging meets the 1973 IAEA requirements as a B(U) package.

Sincerely, I W
