SUMMARY
OF TOPICAL Topical Report fiU-QA-1, Revision 3A describes the quality assurance program which tiortheast Utilities (NU) applies to those design, procurement, construction and operations phase activities involving safety-related structures, systems and components of nuclear power plants within the NU scope of work.
NU-QA-1, Revision 3A, commits NU to comply with the requirements of Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 50.
It also commits NU to follow the Regulatory Guides and ANSI Standard listed below:

NU has provided for our evaluation a detailed organizational description of the individuals and groups involved in implementing activities required by the quality assurance program and a delineation of duties, responsibilities, and authority of those organizational elements involved in the quality assurance program, Revision 3A of NU-QA-1 contains a description of the j
measures used to carry out Uie NU quality assurance program activities and describes how applicable requirements of Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 50 will be satisfied by the administration and implementation of these measures.
