Data Quality Assessment of OOLJ 0-06; I.

The HEPP LTP and Historical Site Assessment were reviewed and compared to the DQOs of HBPP-CHAR-OOLl0-06. The classification history satisfies the DQOs in the survey plan.

2.

The survey unit description as well as the design, measurement locations, analytical methods and detection limits, variability (a-priori CJ), QC requirements and survey and sampling accuracy were adequately discussed in the FSSP.

3.

All field documents, instrument issue, measurement results and maps were complete and legible.

4.

A preliminary data review was performed 20 statistical samples were gathered. The survey had more than siifficient power.

5.

A review of the characterization survey provided confidence that the survey contained a sufficient quantity and quality of samples and was performed to the rigors of a Final Status Survey.

Statistical quantities:

Number of statistical samples Minimum value Maximum Value Mean Median a-posteriori 0 20

-5.60E-02 3.45E-01 4.19E-02 2.0lE-02 9.39E-02

6.

The mean is approximately equal to the median indicating a common central tendency.

7.

The range of the data varies within -4.3 standard deviations about the arithmetic mean.

8.

The Scatter Plot exhibits that there was one outlier sample result that showed Cs-13 7.

9.

The Quantile Plot exhibits normal symmetry.

10.

The Frequency Plot demonstrates a normal distribution with slight right skewness distribution.

11.

The data posting plot does not clearly reveal any systematic spatial trends.

12.

No sample data exceeded the DCGL, therefore a statistical test was not required.

13.

The data was of siifficient quantity and quality to be used as FSS data.

14.

The data verified all the key assumptions of the statistical test.

15.

The survey possessed siifficient power to pass the survey unit.

Summary:

The survey was performed as stated in the survey package, the data contained no abnormalities and supported all the key assumptions of the statistical test, and no sample exceeded the DCGL.

Survey Unit OOL 10-06 meets the HBPP release criteria thus the null hypothesis is rejected for OOL 10-06.

Data Quality Assessment of OOLJ0-14;

1.

The HEPP LTP and Historical Site Assessment were reviewed and compared to the DQOs of HEP P-FSSP-OOLl 0-14. The classification history satisfies the DQOs in the survey plan.

2.

13.

The data verified all the key assumptions of the statistical test.

14.

The survey possessed sufficient power to pass the survey unit.

Summary:

Sample OOLl 0-14-009 original location landed on top of a gas line and had to be relocated. The sample was relocated in the field and when put on AutoCAD it landed outside the boundary so that sample was thrown out. However, this sa111ple did not show any plant related radionuclides.

The survey was performed as stated in the survey package, the data contained no abnormalities and supported all the key assumptions of the statistical test, and no sample exceeded the DCGL.

Survey Unit OOLl 0-14 meets the HBPP release criteria thus the null hypothesis is rejected for OOLl0-14.

Data Quality Assessment of OOLJ 0-15;

1.

The HEPP LTP and Historical Site Assessment were reviewed and compared to the DQOs of HBPP-FSSP-OOL10-15. The classification history satisfies the DQOs in the survey plan.

2.

The survey unit description as well as the design, measurement locations, analytical methods and detection limits, variability (a-priori (J), QC requirements and survey and sampling accuracy were adequately discussed in the FSSP.

3.

All field documents, instrument issue, measurement results and maps were complete and legible.

4.

A preliminary data review was pe1formed 15 statistical samples were gathered. The survey had more than siifficientpower.

Statistical quantities:

Number of statistical samples Minimum value Maximum Value Mean Median a-posteriori 0 15 5.93E-02 5.61E-01 2.25E-01 2.24E-01 1.40E-01

5.

The mean is approximately equal to the median indicating a common central tendency.

6.

The range of the data varies within - 3.57 standard deviations about the arithmetic mean.

7.

The Scatter Plot exhibits that there were no outlier sample results.

8.

The Quantile Plot exhibits normal symmetry.

9.

The Frequency Plot demonstrates a normal distribution with slight right skewness distribution.

10.

The data posting plot does not clearly reveal any systematic spatial trends.

11.

No sample data exceeded the DCGL, therefore a statistical test was not required.

12.

The data was of siifficient quantity and quality to be used as FSS data.

13.

The data verified all the key assumptions of the statistical test.

14.

The survey possessed sufficient power to pass the survey unit.

Summary:

The survey was performed as stated in the survey package, the data contained no abnormalities and supported all the key assumptions of the statistical test, and no sample exceeded the DCGL.

Survey Unit OOLl0-15 meets the HBPP release criteria thus the null hypothesis is rejected for OOLl0-15.

The Quantile Plot exhibits normal symmetry.

9.

The Frequency Plot demonstrates a normal distribution with slight right skewness distribution.

I 0.

The data posting plot does not clearly reveal any systematic spatial trends.

I I.

No sample data exceeded the DCGL, therefore a statistical test was not required.

I 2.

The data was of sufficient quantity and quality to be used as FSS data.

Survey Unit OOL 10-19 meets the HBPP release criteria thus the null hypothesis is rejected for OOLl0-19.

Data Quality Assessment of OOLJ 0-23;

1.

The HEPP LTP and Historical Site Assessment were reviewed and compared to the DQOs of HBPP-FSSP-OOLl0-23. The classification history satisfies the DQOs in the survey plan.

2.

The survey unit description as well as the design, measurement locations, analytical methods and detection limits, variability (a-priori a), QC requirements and survey and sampling accuracy were adequately discussed in the FSSP.

3.

Allfield documents, instrument issue, measurement results and maps were complete and legible.

4.

A preliminary data review was performed 15 statistical samples were gathered. The survey had more than siifficient power.

Statistical quantities:

Number of statistical samples Minimum value Maximum Value Mean Median a-posteriori cr 15

-6.30E-03 7.51E-02 3.03E-02 2.S0E-02 2.43E-02

5.

The mean is approximately equal to the median indicating a common central tendency.

6.

The range of the data varies within - 3.35 standard deviations about the arithmetic mean.

7.

The Scatter Plot exhibits that there were no outlier sample results.

8.

The Quantile Plot exhibits normal symmetry.

9.

The Frequency Plot demonstrates a normal distribution with no multimodal distribution.

14.

The survey possessed siifficient power to pass the survey unit.

Summary:

The survey was performed as stated in the survey package, the data contained no abnormalities and supported all the key assumptions of the statistical test, and no sample exceeded the DCGL.

Survey Unit OOLl 0-23 meets the HBPP release criteria thus the null hypothesis is rejected for OOLl0-23.
