R. F.
Janecek letter to D.
L.
Ziemann dated February 29, 1980
Dear Mr. Ziemann:
This letter satisfies the commitment in Reference (a) to provide the results of our review of the anchorage existing for floor mounted safety related electrical equipment at Dresden Unit 1.
A list consisting of 76 items of floor mounted safety related electrical equipment was developed for the inspection.
All the equipment which was accessible for inspection has been determined to have postive a'chorage.
Those items which could not be taken out of service for inspection were the 4KV switch gear buses 11 and 12, MCC 4 and AC, and several distribution panels.
Based on the results of the inspection of accessible equipment, we have no reason to doubt that positive anchorage of this equipment also exists.
The. items not inspected at this time will be taken out of service and inspected as part of the overall seismic reevaluation of the plant, prior to startup from the current outage.
Please address any questions you may have concerning this matter to this office.
One (1) signed orignal and thirty-nine (39) copies of this transmittal are provided for your use.
Very truly yours,
/W Robert F.
