SUMMARY

OF FEBRUARY 14, 1980 SITE VISIT On February 14, 1980 we met with representatives of Louisiana Power & Light Company and Ebasco Services at the Waterford 3 site.

The purpose of the visit was to view the piping systems in the plant.

Special attention was given to the main steam and feedwater lines outside containment.

The staff and its contractor, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will perform a confirmatory stress analysis of main steam line "A" outside of containment. We also dis-cussed the methods that Ebasco used in seismically analyzing the main steam line.
