He have received a copy of your application dated January 25, 1980, which you filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review and approval.
The application proposed crganizational changes for the Vermont Yankee Facility Technical Specifications (License No. DPR-28) and was accom-panied by a Class II amendment fee of $1,200.
Based on guidance from the ONRR staff as a result of a preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that the proposed changes involve changes in the organizational structure and lines of responsibility that are of such a nature that they require an evaluation by the technical review staff.
As such, these changes are considered to be of safety significance and not routine administrative changes requiring little or no evaluation.
There-fore, a Class III amendment fee of $4,000 is required.
It is requested that an additional $2,800 be remitted to this office promptly.
If the final review of your application by the ONRR staff reveals that this fee is incorrect, you will be refunded any overpayment or requested to pay for any additional amount due.
