Dear Mr. Crow:

' ' ' / y W In the Matter of the Application

)

Docket No. 50-328 Tenneasee Valley Authority

)

This is to formally document a telephone discussion between J.

C.

Delaney of your staff and a representative of my staff today concerning Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 2 special nuclear material (SNM) license application.

The maximum enrichment of the initial core for the Sequoyah unit 2 fuel assemblies is 3.10 +.05 weight percent U-235.

TVA requests that the SNM license permit storage up to 3.15 weight percent U-235 instead of the 3.5 percent as stated in the application.

The Sequoyah unit 2 fuel will be stored in the new fuel storage vault and/or spent fuel pit located within Sequoyah unit 1 vital area.

Sequoyah unit 1 is protected by TVA's nuclear plant physical security progran and it is now in effect.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALIFY AUTHORITY
