We have received a copy of your application dated Decenber 19, 1979, which you filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review and approval.
It was identified as Amendment No. 72 to your application for construction permits and operating licenses for flidland Unit Nos. I and 2.
Your application was not accompanied by approval / amendment fees as prescribed by Section 170.22 of 10 CFR Part 170.
Section 170.12(c) requires that you provide a proposed determination of the approval or amendment class, state the basis therefor, and submit the fees with your request.
Based on guidance from the ONRR staff as a result of their preliminary review of your request, it has been determined that the subject application involves consideration of a complex issue.
As such, it requires a Class IV fee of
$12,300 for Unit No. I and a duplicate unit fee of $400 for Unit No. 2.
It is requested that a total of $12,700 be forwarded to this office promptly.
If the final review of your application by the OURR staff reveals that these fees are incorrect, you will be refunded any overpayment or billed for any additional amount due.
