ECUIPMENT QUALIFICATION TEST REPORTS AND TCPICAL REPCRTS By memorandun dated November 16,1979 (see Enclosure) IE requested, through the D0R contact, that tiRR provide an evaluation of each of the numerous test reports and topical reports which licensees have referenced as the basis for equipment qualification in their responses to IE Bulletin 79-01.
llany of the reports identified in IE's memorandum were a part of the docket record at the time the plants were originally licensed and may have been evaluated during the 1icensing review. Please indicate which of the documents listed by IE have previously been reviewed and found acceotable and remain an acceptable basis for equiprent qualification. Any conditions to the acceptance should be identified.
In those cases where the review is ongoing, tha current status should be provided.
IE has requested that this information be provided on an expedited basis. He will prepare a response to IE's request as soon as we receive your input.
