As you are aware, intervenor TexPIRG has several new contentions admitted at the pre-hearing coaference last fall.

Pursuant to Section 2.740b and 2.741 of the Commission's Rules of Practice, TexPIRG requests that the State of Texas provide infor-mation as stated in the attached fourth set of interrogatories.

In view of the state 's Open Records Act and the co-operation of the State with all parties in this proceeding, these requests primarily serve the function of placing us in contact with the knowledgeable or appropriate employee within~the relevant agency.

Therefore, I would ask that you state the titles of relevant documents sought herejn along with the names of the state employee whom we may request information from.

If for any reason these requests place too great a time bur. den upon you, please contact me or TexPIRG's attorney, Mr. Scott, to make suitable arrangements to meet your convenience.
